What is Phlebotomy?
Phlebotomy is the practice of drawing blood from patients for laboratory testing or blood donation. It is a crucial skill in the healthcare industry, and our course will equip you with the expertise needed to become a successful phlebotomist.
Our Phlebotomy course now offers a full training programme to give people the opportunity to become a professional phlebotomist.
Classes take place monthly and the course itself lasts for two days - one covering theory and a second on practical aspects.
- In the theory session you will learn all the fundamentals and regulations around blood tests' procedures
- You will be Given an E learning access login and have 1 year access to return back to course if needed
- On the second day, you will start your first practical lessons on dummy arms and begin looking at other basic practices
- Please note: You must complete your practical session within 28 days after the theoretical class.
On passing the course you will have a certificate of competency (practical) and a certificate of conclusion (theory). These are qualifications recognised by the CPD Certification Service that would allow you to apply for roles and start a new career as a Phlebotomist.
